Curbside Textile Collection Week
Monday, June 2 – Friday, June 6, 2025
Single Family Residents – Place bagged textiles (household linens, clothing, etc.) on the curb next to the blue recycling cart on your regular collection day during the above mentioned weeks.
Multi-Family Complexes – Curbside collection will occur on your service day during the weeks listed above. For complexes with shared bin service, please have the manager contact ACI to specify a collection area.
Textiles will be sorted for reuse. Please do not set out textiles that are wet, moldy, or have human biowaste or blood on them.

San Leandro Police Explorers
The Police Explorer Program is an opportunity for young adults between the ages of 14 and 19 to become exposed to the basics of law enforcement through volunteering. Explorers are taught by Police Officers and Police Department employees. It is a leadership program designed to prepare students to be active in the community, learn more about a law enforcement career, obtain valuable work experience, and take on more responsibility as a young adult.
